Located just past the NE corner of KyeongGiJeon (경기전), Jeonju Guesthouse is a new facility with all new, but rustic and cozy décor.
Key features of the place are a friendly staff and a large, communal, kitchen-lounge area.
Travelers can stay for just 17,000원per night weekdays, and 19,000 원 week-end nights. The proprietor, Mr. HoSong Lee (이호성), spent years traveling in hostels in Europe, and crafted Jeonju Guesthouse with his most memorable stays in mind.

There are 12 beds in the male quarters, 15 in the female. Bathrooms are big, beds are new and clean, and the hot water is hot. The roof is for drying laundry, relaxing and has a beautiful view of the DongGoSan pagoda.

The people at Jeonju Guesthouse are very friendly and fun, and speak English very well. They can also cook fantastic Mexican food!

Jeonju Guesthouse is the first of it’s kind here, but it’s no makeshift, stopgap measure. It is a worthy encounter. As far as hostels are concerned, Jeonju Guesthouse is five-star.
