106 students arrested in school violence crackdown:

Schools have been reporting a surge in gangster-style violence cases involving assault and imprisonment, blackmail, intimidation, bullying and physical or mental, or inflicting property damage of older students upon younger. Jeonbuk Provincial police launched an investigation in May, and have since made 106 arrests. "We will continue our efforts," said a police spokesperson, "to ensure that our schools are free of violence and fear."
