Ssireum tournament in Gunsan

Gunsan is heating up over the Lunar New Year Holidays with a ssireum tournament. SSireum is traditional Korean wrestling, where the participants attempt to bring their opponent down while clutching sashes wrapped around the thigh and waist. The weight classes in the tournament will range from 80 to 160 kilogram. Courtesy, The Korea Times.
